Early life and training

Nick Aldis was born in Docking, Norfolk, England, in 1986. He began training for professional wrestling in his teens and made his in-ring debut in 2003.

TNA and Magnus persona

Aldis became widely known through TNA, where he wrestled mainly as Magnus. During this period he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and tag team titles.

National Wrestling Alliance career

Aldis later became a major figure in the NWA, where he held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship twice. His first reign is noted for its length in modern NWA history.
